| Differences between the 3000 coil reprint and the original 10,000 coil | * Back Numbers - 5 digits on original, 4 on reprint. * Under both Longwave and Shortwave UV light, viewed from the reverse (gum side) of the stamp, the original paper is a bright white compared to the reprint, which appears as a dull brown. * Using Longwave on the front, the stamp side, the paper on the original shows up as purple (or dead) from the light itself, while the reprint shows a white color. * There is no apparent difference in the printed stamps. |
