Official Announcement | The Postal Service will
issue a sheetlet of 18 32-cent Holiday Contemporary (Children Sledding) peel-and-stick
automatic teller machine (ATM) stamps (Item 5513) and a booklet of 20 32-cent Holiday
Traditional (Midnight Angel) peel-and-stick stamps (Item 6670) on October 19 in Christmas,
Florida. Designed by John Grossman and Laura Alders of Richmond Point, California, these stamps feature greeting card scenes from the Victorian and Edwardian eras. The Children Sledding and Midnight Angel stamps go on sale nationwide October 20. |

Distribution $5.76 Holiday Contemporary ATM Stamps (Children Sledding, Item 5513)
Stamp distribution offices (SDOs) and stamp distribution networks (SDNs) with authorized philatelic centers will receive automatic distributions of this stamp in the following quantities to provide subsequent automatic distribution to each philatelic center:
Offices That Receive Four-Position Stock in These Quantities Will Receive These Quantities of the $5.76 Holiday Contemporary Sheetlet
20,000, 500 - 40,000, 1,000 - 60,000, 1,500 - 80,000, 2,000 - 125,000, 3,500 - 250,000, 6,500 - 375,000, 8,500 - 625,000, 10,500.
Only SDOs currently participating in the ATM program will receive automatic distribution of these stamps and have been notified in writing of their quantities. SDOs must not distribute stamps to post offices before October 12.
Additional Supply
Accountable paper depositories (APDs) will receive the following quantities for filling supplemental orders: New York, NY, Washington, DC, and Chicago, IL, will receive 84,000 sheetlets; Memphis, TN, Denver, CO, and the SDN in Dulles, VA, will receive 24,000 sheetlets; San Francisco, CA, will receive 192,000 sheetlets; and the SDN in Kansas City, MO, will receive 1,368,000 sheetlets. The participating SDOs requiring additional sheetlets must order them from their APD, using separate Forms 17, Stamp Requisition. These stamp sheetlets are packaged in master cartons of 12,000 sheetlets (24 subcartons of 500 sheetlets).
Sales will be restricted to post offices with authorized philatelic centers and ATMs included in this program. All Other Post Offices Window clerks receiving inquiries about purchasing ATM stamps should refer customers to the Stamps etc. catalog for purchase of these stamps and remind them that mail order purchases are subject to the new postage and handling fees.
